During allergy season, a lot of people suffer from nasal and sinus symptoms, including nasal congestion, sneezing, nasal itching, and runny nose. There are a lot of really good allergy medications available over the counter, including oral antihistamines such as Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec and Xyzal, and topical nasal steroid sprays, including Flonase Nasacort, and Rhinocort. These medications can be very effective but are always best used before exposure to allergens. So, during the allergy season, it's best to use these on a daily basis.
