About

Dr. Paul H. Kim received his B.A in mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with magna cum laude distinction. 

He received his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He then started a career in neurosurgery but made the transition to complete a Family Medicine Residency at Carle Clinic in Champaign, Illinois. 

In 2002,Dr. Kim started his own private practice which eventually became part of BASS Medical Group in 2017. During this time, Dr. Kim earned his board certification in Obesity Medicine.   Dr. Kim now functions as a Bariatrician, or medical weight loss physician, within the BASS Primary Care Division. 

Dr. Kim enjoys golf, skiing and soccer. Dr. Kim is also blessed with 2 teenage children, a wife who is also a physician, and a labradoodle.
