Stephen Chan

Dr. Stephen Chan studied Biomedical Engineering at Yale University before enrolling in medical school at the University of Kentucky near his hometown. He received the top award for research in his medical school class for publications investigating access to cochlear implants and hearing aids in rural areas. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 2017. Dr. Chan then completed otolaryngology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota in 2022 with multiple peer-reviewed publications. He joined West Coast ENT in 2022 and practices out of the Oxnard and Simi Valley offices. His clinical interests include ear surgery, surgery for obstructive sleep apnea, and endoscopic sinus surgery. Dr. Chan established the cochlear implant program at West Coast ENT and performs Inspire surgery for sleep apnea. He is married with two children and enjoys disc golf, pizza-making, and hiking in his spare time.
