Preethi Sridhar

Dr. Preethi Sridhar was born and raised in Bangalore, India. She worked in endocrinology practices in both rural and urban Bangalore for two years before moving to the United States.

She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. Dr. Sridhar has been practicing endocrinology in Mountain View, California since 2013 and is board certified in both Endocrinology and Internal Medicine.

Her clinical practice includes all aspects of endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid disorders (including thyroid cancer management), pituitary disorders, parathyroid and calcium disorders, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, cardiovascular risk reduction, and weight management. She is skilled in performing in-office thyroid and neck ultrasounds as well as fine needle aspiration biopsies.

Dr. Sridhar has extensive experience managing endocrine conditions during pregnancy, including thyroid disorders, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and prediabetes before, during, and after pregnancy. She is experienced in utilizing continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and evidence-based medications to help patients effectively manage diabetes.

She incorporates evidence-based medicine, advanced technology, and lifestyle management to provide safe, effective, and personalized care. Dr. Sridhar is committed to delivering high-quality endocrinology care.

Outside of her clinical work, she is a trained Indian classical dancer and continues to teach dance. She enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, hiking, and cooking. She speaks English, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi and is currently accepting new patients.
