Meaghan Pinheiro, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN and a co-founder of Main Street Obstetrics & Gynecology in Ventura, California. Along with the compassionate team, Dr. Pinheiro enjoys helping women from all walks of life find the care that they deserve.
Dr. Pinheiro grew up in Southern California and earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Following her program, she pursued her residency at the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.
In her many years of practice, Dr. Pinheiro has enjoyed helping women throughout their life, from adolescence and getting their first period to adulthood and needing Pap Smears, pregnancy support, and routine checkups. She also helps ease their fears when it comes to life transitions, and provides personalized care to address their women’s health concerns.
In addition to serving patients at Main Street Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Pinheiro serves as OB/GYN department chair at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where she implemented several patient protocols such as skin-to-skin care in the operating room during C-sections and the option for tubal removal at the time of C-section delivery for those who don’t see any pregnancies in the future.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Pinheiro enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. As a family, they love to get out and head to the beaches, hike, go to local farms, and explore local eateries.
