Brent Geffen

Dr. Brent Geffen comes from deep roots in Los Angeles. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology at the University of California, San Diego. He moved to the East Coast to attend Wake Forest School of Medicine on scholarship. Due to his academic and research accomplishments he was nominated to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, graduating in the top 5% of his medical school class. Dr. Geffen relocated to the Mountain West to complete a surgical internship and five total years of surgical training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Utah.

As a Chief Resident, he focused on advanced techniques in endoscopic nasal and sinus surgery, treatment of sleep apnea, and minimally invasive parathyroid and thyroid surgery. Dr. Geffen treats patients of all ages, from infants to great grandparents. He is an experienced cochlear implant surgeon and offers Inspire Sleep Apnea treatment.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Geffen can be found paddling out in the Ventura surf, exploring the trails with his wife and Labradors, or cheering on the Lakers.
