Dr. Abhay Vaidya attended medical college at the University of Oklahoma graduating in 1992. During his time there, he was class president and president of the American Medical Association Student Chapter. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 1991. He completed his residence in otolaryngology at Loyola University Medical Center Chicago in 1998. During this time, he authored several peer reviewed publications and textbook chapters. He has been practicing with West Coast ENT since 2002. He served on the board of the Ventura County medical associated for many years including serving as president in 2013. He also served as clinical instructor at the Ventura County Medical Center from 2002-2005. He previously served as a member of the Cal State university Channel Islands Dean’s advisory panel. He served many years on the Camarillo Healthcare district community leadership panel. He practices all aspects of ENT with special interests in issues related to nasal breathing/sinus problems, surgery for thyroid/parathyroid problems, and surgery for tongue tie (and other oral tethers). He is married with two children, enjoys playing tennis, and enjoys movies.
