An Update from BASS Medical Group

The impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) on healthcare continues to change rapidly, so BASS wanted to communicate to all of our patients to give you an update on the availability of our services during this time.

As you have probably heard, several Bay Area counties announced a “stay in place” quarantine, effective as of Midnight March 17, 2020. All non-essential travel isto be limited. Please note however, since we are a Healthcare Organization,BASS Medical Group is classified as essential-travel.

BASS will support any clinic or office who believes their services are essential to the public health and chooses to remain open. Please call your doctors office to find out whether or not they will continue to see patients during this time.

Our administrative staff will be working remotely to ensure that our services remain readily available to all patients during this time. We are taking steps to ensure billing, accounting, human resources, and all other administrative services are unhindered by this development. This is a new situation for all of our staff members, so please bear with us over the next few days as we get back up to speed.

Please note that the BASS Urgent Care referenced in this original 2020 notice is no longer in operation. Patients seeking same-day or walk-in care may contact current BASS Medical Group primary care offices for availability or visit the walk-in clinic at Blackhawk Medical Group in Danville.

We appreciate your patience during this time as we make the proper adjustments needed to be able to continue to serve the community during this outbreak.
