Maya Saafein

Maya is a Physician Assistant working alongside Dr. Murthy in providing patient-centered care within sleep medicine and pulmonology. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from San Jose State University in 2022. She then went on to pursue her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at George Fox University in Oregon, graduating in 2025.

Maya is passionate about developing meaningful connections with her patients and creating an environment where they feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing their health concerns. She believes that effective care goes beyond treating a diagnosis and strives to ensure that each patient understands their condition and feels confident in their treatment plan.
