Dr. Kirk Jensen is a highly experienced Board certified Orthopedic surgeon based in Lafayette, California. His practice is limited to management of Shoulder conditions and specializes in Reconstructive Shoulder Surgery and Sports Medicine Injuries of the Shoulder. His education is extensive, having completed his residency at the University of California (San Francisco) and fellowship with Charles A. Rockwood Jr. at University of Texas Health Science Center San. Dr. Jensen has a rich body of knowledge dealing with cases in arthritis, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder instability, revision shoulder instability surgery, shoulder arthroplasty, and complex revision shoulder arthroplasty surgery. Furthermore, his influential research has been published in reputable journals multiple times, with some of his work cited nearly 300 times by other publications. Dr. Jensen has been involved with the development of many Orthopedic devices commonly used in the management of AC Joint injuries, Clavicle Fractures, Shoulder Resurfacing arthroplasty, Stemless Total shoulder arthroplasty, Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty and Anatomic Shoulder Arthroplasty.
