Henry Haruthunian

Dr. Haruthunian is a board-certified Family Medicine and Sports Medicine physician at PTR Sports in Campbell, California. Originally from Southern California, he earned his undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge. He received his medical degree at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Haruthunian then completed his Family Medicine residency at Marian Regional Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he provided care to Division I athletes at California State University, Northridge.

Dr. Haruthunian offers a comprehensive, dual-focused approach spanning Family Medicine and Sports Medicine . On the Family Medicine side, he provides primary care with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and nutrition. On the Sports Medicine side, he is trained in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluation and ultrasound-guided procedures for acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, and he also provides concussion care. He has a special interest in orthobiologics, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Patients range from athletes and weekend warriors to those managing chronic conditions or looking to start exercising safely and effectively. He believes staying active is one of the most important steps in maintaining long-term health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Haruthunian enjoys playing basketball, weight training, cooking, and traveling. As an avid athlete, he combines his personal experience with evidence-based medicine to develop goal-oriented exercise prescriptions and injury prevention strategies.
