Dr. Elliot Min is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with BASS Medical Group who specializes in the treatment of complex spinal pathology. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, degenerative spine conditions, spinal deformity, spinal robotics, and spinal oncology. He treats a broad spectrum of spine disorders with a focus on minimally invasive and motion-sparing techniques when appropriate.
Dr. Min received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, graduating cum laude with an A.B. in Molecular Biology and a Certificate in Neuroscience. He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his neurological surgery residency at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where he also completed an enfolded fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery with Dr. Jeffrey Wang. He subsequently completed a postgraduate neurosurgery spine fellowship at the University of Miami with Dr. Michael Wang and Dr. Allan Levi.
Dr. Min is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. His academic work has focused extensively on spine surgery, minimally invasive techniques, surgical outcomes, and the treatment of degenerative spine disease. He has published research in the Global Spine Journal, Journal of Spine Surgery, Operative Neurosurgery, and other peer-reviewed journals, and has presented his research at national neurosurgery and spine conferences. His publications include work examining minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic spine surgery, cervical spinal stenosis, lumbar fusion, complications following spine surgery, and other spinal conditions.
Dr. Min believes that each patient’s condition is unique and that treatment should be individualized based on their symptoms, anatomy, goals, and lifestyle. He strives to treat every patient with compassion and care, working collaboratively to develop a personalized treatment plan. His approach incorporates evidence-based medicine and, when appropriate, novel and cutting-edge surgical techniques to achieve the best possible outcome for each patient.
