By fostering trust and understanding in her relationships with patients, Dr. Dolores Musco seeks to form lasting partnerships that lead to lifestyle changes and improved overall health. Nurturing and knowledgeable, she approaches medicine with a holistic mindset and has special interests in adolescent medicine, women’s health, and geriatric medicine.
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dolores earned a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and Immunology from Northwestern University. She went on to receive her MD from The Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in family medicine at the UCLA School of Medicine-affiliated program at Ventura County Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dolores is the co-founder of FocusedMD, a personalized, membership-based primary care practice she launched with her husband, Dr. Mark Musco. Previously, they co-founded Diablo Family Physicians (DFP), where they were known for their commitment to treating patients like family.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dolores stays busy as a mom of two boys, and enjoys cycling, dog walking, and spending time outdoors.
