Annalissa Pena

Annalissa Pena is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. A Bay Area native, Annalissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dominican University of California and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program, at Samuel Merritt University.

Prior to her role as a Nurse Practitioner, Annalissa worked as a dedicated Registered Nurse providing high-quality care across telemetry, oncology, and progressive care units within a high-acuity trauma hospital setting, where she developed a strong clinical foundation caring for patients with complex and acute medical needs. As a former collegiate soccer athlete, she developed a deep appreciation for injury prevention and physical recovery, which continues to influence her clinical approach. This combined background has shaped her interest in orthopedic care, perioperative management, and optimizing functional outcomes for patients.

Annalissa is passionate about health, wellness, and preventive care, and she values building meaningful relationships with her patients to support long-term health outcomes.

Outside of clinical practice, Annalissa enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, exploring new destinations, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
