Katherine Stentzel

Katie Stentzel, MSN, AGACNP-BC, PCCN, PHN, WTA-C, is a Nurse Practitioner based in Chico, California, with a diverse and deeply rooted background in both acute care medicine and aesthetic practice.

Her journey in healthcare began at just 17 years old as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she developed an early passion for patient care. She went on to work as a phlebotomist before earning her nursing degree, later advancing her education by completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing while actively working as a registered nurse. Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence and leadership, she ultimately earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

As an RN, Katie built a strong foundation in high-acuity environments, including Med/Surg, ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PACU settings. During her nurse practitioner training, she completed over 450 clinical hours in the Emergency Department, in addition to rotations in primary care, urgent care, hospital medicine, and intensivist services — providing her with a comprehensive and well-rounded clinical perspective.

For the past six years, Katie has specialized in aesthetic medicine, performing advanced injectable treatments including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and laser-based procedures. She has trained with leading experts in the aesthetic industry and is ultrasound-certified in aesthetics, allowing her to prioritize both safety and precision in her approach to cosmetic treatments.

Katie’s clinical credentials include MSN, AGACNP-BC, PCCN, PHN, and WTA-C. Her unique blend of critical care expertise and aesthetic specialization allows her to deliver results-driven treatments grounded in medical integrity and advanced anatomical knowledge.

Outside of her professional work, Katie is a dedicated mother of four whom she proudly raises on her own. She has a strong commitment to family and community and deeply values the relationships that support both personal and collective growth. In her personal time, she enjoys creating meaningful experiences with her children through travel, shared adventures, and time spent together.
