About
Dr. Corinne Jansen is a fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist committed to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals facing gynecologic cancers. She specializes in the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and management of cancers of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vulva, and fallopian tubes, with a focus on personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies.
Dr. Jansen earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard University in Boston. She completed her fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Women & Infants Hospital/Brown University, where she received advanced training in complex pelvic surgery, minimally invasive and robotic techniques, chemotherapy, and palliative care.
Her clinical interests include high-grade serous ovarian cancer, rare and recurrent gynecologic malignancies, and fertility-preserving options for younger patients. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jansen is engaged in patient education research, exploring how information delivery, health literacy, and shared decision-making impact patient understanding, satisfaction, and long-term outcomes in gynecologic oncology.
Known for her clear communication, thoughtful bedside manner, and collaborative approach, Dr. Jansen is a strong advocate for patient-centered care. She believes that each person deserves to be heard, respected, and guided through their cancer journey with expertise and empathy.
A Bay Area native, she is happy to return and care for the community she grew up in. When not in the clinic or the hospital she can be found rock-climbing, running, surfing, or working on ceramics.
