Sruthi Sakamuri

Dr. Sakamuri is board-certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has a longstanding passion for women’s health. She particularly enjoys the opportunity to foster trusting, long-term relationships through compassion, clear communication and evidence-based care. She is dedicated to patient education to empower and support patients as they navigate their health journey. 

Dr. Sakamuri's clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures with Da-Vinci, as well as contraception, family planning, and maternal mental health. 

Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Sakamuri received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and earned her medical degree from the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. She completed her residency at Pennsylvania Hospital within the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia and then worked as an attending physician at Newton-Wellesley Hospital for 3 years. 

She currently lives in San Francisco with her partner. Outside of work, she enjoys dance, travel, hot yoga, and exploring food, art, and history.
