Michael Leininger is anAdult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) who earned his Bachelor ofScience degree from San Jose State University in 2014. Michael then went on toreceive his Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner degree fromGeorgetown University in 2020, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Prior to joiningBASS Medical Group, Michael worked as a registered nurse for seven years,specializing in critical care and emergency medicine. He began his career as anurse practitioner during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, working in SanFrancisco, California, and specializing in care of the critically ill. Hejoined John Muir Health in 2022, where he continues to work as an NPspecializing in neurosurgery. Michael cares deeply about his work, and hasalways believed in providing holistic, safe, patient-centered care. In hisfree-time, Michael enjoys archery, exercise, spending time with his family, andcaring for his precious puppy, Hugo.
