Nephrology
Ferris Powell is a board-certified nurse practitioner with the Nephrology division of Bass Medical Group. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing. She has several years of nursing experience with patients suffering from chronic kidney disease and patients with End Stage Renal Disease on dialysis. She worked in Ohio initially and then moved to California in 2015. She is very well versed in all dialysis modalities with an emphasis on home therapies. She is extremely compassionate, and makes it a point to sit down and spend time with her patients, educating them on their disease process and ensuring that they feel comfortable with their medical plan.
