Nicole Abell, DO, FACOOG is a board-certified OB/GYN and a co-founder of Main Street Obstetrics & Gynecology in Ventura, California. Dr. Abell enjoys forming lifelong relationships with her patients and taking care of them from adolescence to menopause and beyond.
Dr. Abell is originally from the Midwest and grew up in Indiana. She completed her master’s degree in biology at Purdue University. She then went on to receive her medical education at Nova Southeastern University, followed by her residency training in obstetrics and gynecologyMidwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
With precision and skill, Dr. Abell performs surgical procedures with the highest level of care. She also enjoys the continued learning involved in this ever-changing field and utilizes the latest techniques to improve patient experiences.
Dr. Abell takes a holistic approach to care, helping not only address physical health but the emotional well-being of her patients. She believes it’s important to educate her patients so they can be fully involved in their health care and make the best decisions for their body.
In her free time, Dr. Abell enjoys car shows, , baking, bike rides and building sand castles with her three year old daughter. She recently welcomed a baby boy into her family and looks forward to new adventures now as a family of four.
