Gurpreet Boparai

Dr. Gurpreet Boparai, MD is a compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine practitioner in San Ramon, CA. Dr. Boparai earned her medical degree from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College in 2005 and completed her residency at the University of Florida in 2010. Dr. Boparai has worked in the in-patient and outpatient clinical setting for the past 14 years and strives to provide compassionate care that incorporates each patient's feelings and beliefs into the personalized care plan. Dr. Boparai places emphasis on preventative care services such as Annual Wellness Visits for Medicare patients and annual physicals for all patients under age 65. With her expertise in family medicine and obesity medicine, she addresses a wide spectrum of health issues, including chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and weight management in all age groups.

In 2023, Dr. Boparai joined BASS Medical Group as part of Diablo Family Physicians. As part of Diablo Family Physicians, Dr. Boparai works with a skilled team of Physicians, PA's, and Nurse Practioners to provide comprehensive primary care services care to patients of all ages, including same day services and in-office procedures. Through our partnership with FocusedMD, Dr. Boparai has been actively involved in the LeanMD program for weight loss counseling and management, demonstrating her commitment to providing diverse solutions tailored to each individual patient.

In her free time, Dr. Boparai enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, cooking, and making jigsaw puzzles with her children.
