VP of Operations

For nearly 20 years, Michael Duffy has helped medical groups, health care delivery systems, and payors conduct strategic and business planning, navigate hospital/physician relationships, and improve operational performance. Prior to joining BASS Medical Group, he was at Stanford Health Care, where he was a Director of Business Development for almost 4 years. There, he partnered with department chairs, division chiefs, and medical directors to lead multidisciplinary teams in planning, evaluating, and executing strategic growth initiatives. Prior to that role, Michael was with ECG Management Consultants for over 8 years where he was a Senior Manager in Strategy and Performance Improvement.

In his current role as Vice President of Operations, Michael works closely with the executive team in achieving BASS strategic objectives, expanding its clinical programs, and improving business operations.  He leads various teams focused practice onboarding and implementation, IT/EMR Systems, performance improvement, and marketing services.  He also oversees certain ancillary services of the medical group.  Michael brings a collaborative leadership style and creative problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in health care.

When he is not at work, Michael enjoys time with his wife and two sons while he seeks out fun and new adventures in the San Francisco Bay Area.
