Nicole Alexander is a Nurse Practitioner who works in Antioch providing primary care services to those ages 12 and above.
Nicole graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Psychology and a Biology emphasis. Her interest in nursing began while taking care of her grandparents and helping them navigate the healthcare system. After graduating, Nicole worked as a nursing assistant which solidified her passion for nursing and geriatrics. She then moved across the country to Atlanta, Georgia to obtain her second Bachelor's degree and Master’s in Nursing from Emory University. While at Emory, she was a Palliative Care fellow and completed additional courses and rotations in pain management and hospice care. She also was a Veterans Affairs scholar and completed clinical rotations with medically and socially complex veterans. As a registered nurse, she worked in a community clinic for refugees as well as a primary care clinic specifically for adults living with dementia. She is excited to be back home in California and to make a positive impact on her patient’s lives. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and cats. She also enjoys reading, drawing, discovering new TV shows, and trying to take care of her plants (emphasis on trying…).
