About

Born in London, England and raised in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Omarali graduated from University of Toronto with a B.Sc in Biology. He then earned his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, in the emerald isle of Ireland. Following this, he pursued his Internship at Michigan State University in East Lansing, followed by Internal Medicine residency at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He then completed a Cardiology Fellowship at University of Missouri-Columbia, where his future wife was a medical student.  Dr. Omarali and his wife then re-located  to New York City where he completed an additional year of fellowship in Non-interventional Cardiology at the well known Columbia University, New York City. After his training, he attended as staff Cardiologist at St. Michael's Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Canada for two years. Following this, Dr Omarali and his family moved to sunny California, which, to them, is the best place in the world!

Dr. Omarali has practiced in the Tri-Valley region (Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, and San Ramon) since 1998.  He has been an Active Physician Staff member at Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital and San Ramon Regional Medical Center since 1998, and regularly attends patients for all Cardiac procedures and Hospital admissions and Cardiology consultations in both facilities. He maintains his Board Certification in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. His interests include besides Cardiology, Preventive Medicine and every aspect of Internal Medicine from ambulatory complaints to long term chronic illness.

Dr. Omarali practices Internal Medicine and Cardiology with his wife, Dr. Bader.
